All of Landmark Forestry’s Forest Personnel are versed in the use of GPS and Electronic Data Collection Devices as well as the processes of timber cruising, timber marking, and boundary maintenance. In addition, each member of our staff maintains a number of clientele in their respective areas.

Mike McWhorter
Operations Manager
Mike is the manager and owner of Landmark Forestry LLC. He is a graduate of West Virginia University with a Bachelor of Science degree in Forest Resource Management and is a registered forester in WV and MD. In addition to his forestry experience, Mike holds a Commercial Pilot Certificate for Single and Multi-engine airplanes as well as rotorcraft, and serves as a pilot for Landmark Forestry. Mike draws on several years of experience with the WV Division of Forestry as well as his nineteen years of experience as the creator and operator of Landmark Forestry. He manages Landmark Forestry’s major corporate clients and lends his expertise in all areas of Landmark Forestry’s work. |

Chad Westfall
Director of Forestry Operations
Chad currently directs the day to day tactical management of Landmark Forestry. He is also one of Landmark’s GIS technicians that perform Landmark Forestry’s mapping and database information. Chad holds Associate’s Degrees in Forest Technology and Land Surveying Engineering from Glenville State College. In addition, he holds a Bachelor of Science Degree in Forest Resource Management from West Virginia University and is a West Virginia Registered Forester, #569. |

Mark Sturgill
Eastern Regional Manager
Mark currently manages the Petersburg office. He draws from over fifteen years as a professional forester in which he served as a procurement forester with the supervision of eleven other foresters. In addition to his responsibilities in the Petersburg office he holds a Certified General Appraisers License in West Virginia and Kentucky. He is a graduate of West Virginia University with a Bachelor of Science in Forest Resource Management and is a registered forester in West Virginia. |

Chris is a graduate of West Virginia University with a Bachelor of Science degree in Forest Resource Management. He is currently the manager of 95,000 acres in the western part of West Virginia. His other duties include taking care of the Tree Farm program and Forest Stewardship Program within LMF. He is also a member of the Society of American Foresters and is a West Virginia Registered Forester, #621. |

Jamie is a graduate of Glenville State College with an Associate of Science degree in Forest Technology. His responsibilities at Landmark Forestry include the oversight of management work on 115,000 acres spread over PA, VA, NC, WV and KY for a corporate client as well as developing and overseeing local work for the Weston office. Patrick has over 20 years of computer and electronics experience. His primary experience has been in hardware and software development in the industrial and governmental areas. In 2000 Patrick came aboard Landmark for development of the Cruise Control project. |

Bob is a graduate of Glenville State College with an Associate In Science In Forest Technology. With over 15 years’ experience, he currently manages 72,000 acres in Clay and Nicholas Counties of West Virginia and assists with the management of 14,000 acres in the southeastern part of West Virginia. He currently works out of the Summersville office. Bob is a member of the West Virginia Forestry Association and is a West Virginia Registered Forest Technician, FT-36. |
